Lance Armstrong: The Full Story


Lance Armstrong was the American dream, or so we thought. He was an accomplished cyclist holding seven Tour de France (one of the biggest cycling races in the world) victories, but as we found out, he had taken performance enhancing drugs while in competition, and just like that, his victories became failures. A tragedy right, but at the same time, we are all disappointed with him. Now he is viewed as “just another one of those sports legends taken down by drugs.” But what if I told you he, at the age of 25, was diagnosed with cancer in his lungs, abdomen, lymph nodes, and eventually, brain. What about if I said he was the father of five children and a Texan through and through, or that now, and through his later life, he has been traveling the world apologising for what he has done wrong.
