If you have never heard of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive before, it is a first person shooter game simulating battles between terrorists and counter-terrorists. It is largely played around the world and there are also professional teams that play in leagues for real money. That is specifically what this blog post is about.

iBuyPower vs Netcode is a very well known Counter-Strike: Global Offensive match. At the time of this specific match in 2014, iBP (iBuyPower) was one of the best teams in North America and when they were matched up against the team Netcode, people thought it would be an easy win. However, when the match played out, iBP was shockingly beaten 16-4. Though many believed that iBP had thrown the match, they still denied it. Over time, more and more evidence came out and not too long after the match, the team was banned.
