Crazy Inventions: Google Glass

Google. Anyone could associate that funny word with the popular search engine. But could you ever identify Google with the most futuristic technology? Most likely, you will this year.

Have you heard about Google Glass? It is the most futuristic idea I have ever heard. Google Glass is a rim that fits onto a pair of glasses, or can be worn by itself. It features a lightweight design, with a small display in the corner. Voice commands can be used with Glass to take pictures, send texts, make calls, live stream video, get directions, take video, translate your voice, and MORE. Best of all, it is displayed in front of your eyes; hands free. The only time you use your hands is to hit a small button on the side.

This gadget could become revolutionary. It is currently set to launch in 2013, so keep an eye out for more news. It won’t be cheap, but this is expected due to increasing prices in smartphones and other technology. Apple better watch out, because Google could be the next big thing. There were also plans for Google to release stores. This company sure has come a long way since the start of the website.

To really understand Glass, you need to see this video posted by Google. It shows exactly how glass will look and feel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1uyQZNg2vE

The only question left to ask is, will you buy one?
