Smart Choices At McDonald’s

I know the feeling when you are driving home late and starving and just want to stop at McDonald’s, but you should make a good choice. There are definitely some things at McDonald’s that are not bad for you like, the some of the chicken wraps.

One of the main things to avoid if you are going there for breakfast is the Big Breakfast with Hotcakes. It has the most calories and has a lot of carbohydrates also, has a lot of sugar you do not need. On the other hand if you go for breakfast you could choose something else like a yogurt parfait which only has 160 calories compared to 1,090 and has more protein, only 2 grams of fat and so much less sugar.

There are so many different meals for lunch but the main one to avoid is the CBO Cheddar Bacon Onion Angus Third Pounder which has less calories than the breakfast meal, but still is not great for you. To me the burgers seem that it is not real meat but it definitely could be. There is so much fat and oil in the burgers. You definitely can chose something else like premium grilled chicken sandwich. It has more protein, and less fat. Usually, you do not feel gross about eating it and you can feel wow, I just ate something healthy at McDonald’s. Surprisingly studies show fast food salads are not good for you so you should also avoid them. The salads are bad, because they are high in calories and have more fat. You could make the salad better for you when you pick chicken that is grilled not fried or different types of green lettuce that is better for you than others.

Personally, I still think there are other places you could go to eat, but going to McDonald’s is not bad, you just should make good choices on what you eat.

  1. Interestingly enough, a recent study has shown that salads at many fast food restaurants are usually more unhealthy than the burgers.
